Upbeat Christmas songs may not tug our insides or warm our hearts like the classic and solemn Christmas songs do, but they make us sing along all the time. These are the songs that we love to play during holiday parties, for children and adults alike.
Jingle Bell Rock
A highly popular Christmas song and recorded by many artists, Jingle Bell Rock receives frequent air play than most holiday songs. Since it’s first released in 1957, it has been featured in various holiday movies.
Deck the Halls
Another holiday song with an upbeat tune, Deck the Halls can be traced as early as the 16th century. Just like other holiday songs, we often hear this carol being sung during Christmas and New Years.
Holly Jolly Christmas
Written by Johnny Marks, who also wrote the Christmas classic “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer” and sung by Burl Ives, Holly Jolly Christmas has been recorded by various recording artists and became an all-time children’s favorite Christmas carol.
It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Andy Williams originated this upbeat Christmas song in his first Christmas album. Written in 1963, It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year was composed by Edward Pola and George Wyle.

I think I speak on behalf of a lot of busy mothers when I say that while holiday I really enjoy not being every ones slave and instead having some relaxation time- in particular when on our family’s annual UK Break I like taking every single opportunity I can to eat out with the family. In particular I like going to local English pubs with the family as the traditional feel of them really makes me happy and reminds me of my childhood! The other great thing about going out to eat is the fact that there is no washing up at the end of it all! I have been on holidays on the past where my husband and I have chosen the self catering route, but honestly I just end up getting stroppy with everyone! There is the odd occasion were I will make food or lunch for everyone but over the years I have tried to keep this occurrences to a minimum.

With Halloween fast approaching in a couple of days I am always looking for a new way to celebrate this holiday. This year my friends and I decided to rent a couple of party buses and travel around the city playing some crazy halloween pranks while trick or treating the adult way on some of our friends.
We thought that by getting a party bus and dressing up it would be the ultimate way to celebrate Halloween and something that none of has has done this time of year before. We needed to rent 2 buses because there was not a big enough one available in the area for us all to fit on one. Not a big deal really, but I guess we kind of waited to the last minute and Halloween is a pretty popular day for these bus rental companies.
I am sure we will have fun regardless. We also plan on meeting up at the club later that night after our party bus time is up and keeping on partying until the early morning. I think we are all greatly looking forward to it and can’t wait for the 31st to get here soon enough!

I just got back from my sisters house where my nephew just had his birthday. She bought these cool Mario party supplies for his party and really went all out!
These party supplies were really cool. They featured Mario dressed in his famous red shirt, hat and blue overalls. The colors were very bright done in hues of red, blue, green and yellow. I love this color combination, it worked really well together!
My nephew had such a blast at his party. As he opened his presents I noticed a theme building. They all had something to do with Super Mario or with the Wii which has many Mario games. It was funny, after awhile we would all try to guess what was in the next package because we knew it would be something Mario. I am just glad that no one bought him exactly what I did. That would have been completely embarrassing.

A first birthday is a big deal, so making sure you have all the birthday party supplies you need is going to be important! There are lots of fun supplies you can find that will make the birthday party for your son or daughter just perfect. You can have the party themed with their favorite character or just keep it simple with colors and patterns. Plates, cups, napkins, forks, spoons, and knives are going to be the products you need most, so everyone has something to eat and drink with. You will also need to purchase invitations to send out ahead of time, because chances are you will be inviting lots of your friends, your child’s friends and family. Other ideas for 1st birthday party supplies are decorations like streamers, pinatas and balloons which will set the mood and festive tone as well as other smaller things like bubbles that the kids can play with. You can make this a simple party or more elegant, ultimately your decisions will determine how this party turns out!
